Review - Domination Sex: Conditioned Response

I'm pretty impressed by Erika Masten.  She's a very skilled, effective writer.  Line by line, paragraph by paragraph, her prose is a pleasure to read.  It's also dirty as hell and unspeakably sexy, of course.


Domination Sex: Conditioned Response is a red-hot short story about a young woman who's been nursing a crush for years on a very hot guy named Jay.  She's also been nursing a secret desire to be dominated, and Jay is just the guy to give her what she needs.  The only problem is, she's terrified.  Terrified by her own feelings, by her need, by the dark desires she doesn't want to admit to, even to herself.  Opening herself up to Jay will be a life-changing experience, and she's not at all sure she can make the plunge.


Add to that the fact that Jay has demanded that she beg him to take her in the ass, and you've got a seething emotional and sexual cauldron that goes well beyond being just a dirty story.  Though it works really well as a simple tale of smut, as well.  


Check it out.  It's one of the best things I've read in a while.

Review - Doctor's Orders: The Exam

This is hot stuff with surprising depth.  It's a pretty short story, involving Claire, a young woman with a dull life who goes to see "The Doctor."  The Doctor has some VERY unconventional methods.  He uses BDSM to teach Claire empowerment through submission.


There is bondage, spanking, sex with a man she can't even see, and lots of general hotness.  Then there's the psychological element, which is pretty powerful.  We get right inside Claire's head as she tests her limits and learns things about herself.  For a short story that's mostly sex it's a surprisingly insightful psychological study that adds a whole new level to the story without detracting from the hotness.


There are more stories of Claire and the Doctor, so we'll get to see more of this very interesting journey.  Check it out.
